In its 20 years of existence, Intelec Holdings has made reference to the development of the country of the various companies in its group.

In the 2013 15th edition of KPMG ranking of the 100 largest companies, the holding was considered the eleventh largest company in Mozambique and one of the 5 largest companies in terms of shareholders’ equity. Intelec seeks to promote the “Made in Mozambique” seal that it has embraced since 2007, making the company a national and international benchmark.

Intelec Holdings and its CEO, Dr. Salimo Abdula, were honoured by the World Finance 100 thereby becoming included in the list of 100 leading individuals and companies whose achievements most contributed to the development of sectors in their countries.

Intelec Holdings, SA was awarded the highest award “Bizz 2016 Business Excellence”, awarded annually by WORLDCOB (World Confederation of Businesses). This award has proved that we do not relax. We strive hard and use all our energy to consolidate our leadership position and commitment to the progress and socio-economic development of Mozambique.

WORLDCOB is a global business confederation, that for over 10 years has been contributing to the business community by developing a series of marketing and networking tools, with over 3,000 members in more than 100 countries from different continents such as Africa, Europe, America and Asia. THE BIZZ business award, organized yearly, highlights good business practices from around the world.

World Finance 100 is an institution that celebrates those who have accomplished great achievements in a wide variety of fields of expertise, as well as those organizations and individuals who are front-runners in leading their industries forward. Each year, World Finance compiles a list of 100 individuals and companies – not in terms of capitalization or growth numbers (such as the FTSE 350 or Deloitte Fast 500, respectively), but purely for excellence in their field.

The list features the new business elite, composed of those whose vision and companies have shaped the conceptual landscape of finance, business, and technology.

Intelec Holdings was ranked as the 12th largest company in Mozambique and also as one of the top five largest companies in terms of shareholders’ equity in the 16th edition of the competition organized by KPMG, denominated Top 100 Companies of Mozambique.

The ranking of the Top 100 Mozambican companies is organized annually by KPMG and is considered as one of the key instruments for analysis and support in decision-making by economic agents at various levels inside and outside the country. The main objective of the study is to encourage transparency and competition between companies with a view to creating and improving the business environment in Mozambique. It also aims to promote the image and reputation of companies operating in our country. The business community, the Government, the international community, students and the public in general continue to be the target groups for this study.
