The business manager, Maria de Asunción Abdula, was recently recognized in Maputo for her role in the area of Economy and Business in the country, along with two other important figures in society: Esselina Macome and Angelina Guita.
The recognition was made during the first edition of the Women's Gala, designed and supported by the First Lady's office, to celebrate and honor women who, with dedication and excellence, have excelled in various areas and categories, contributing significantly to the progress and sustainable development of communities.
For Maria de Asunción Abdula, this distinction demonstrates the commitment of the First Lady, Gueta Chapo, to encouraging women's initiatives for the development and economic independence of women.
" It was a truly enriching experience to be with remarkable women, whose trajectories reflect determination, innovation and commitment to excellence. It is a distinction that greatly honors us and revives our desire to continue making the simple contribution to Country development," he said.
With more than 35 years dedicated to the business world, Maria de Asunción Abdula has built a solid and deeply linked career to business association in Mozambique and across borders.
Throughout his journey he founded and led companies like: Electro Sul, Cine Video, Caetsu, SB Restoration and performs the functions of Executive Administrator of Intelec Holdings including its extensions in Portugal and the United States of America.
The businesswoman is a member of the Administrative Board of the Salimo Abdula Foundation (FSA) and has worked for female empowerment as Chairman of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs of the Business Confederation of the CPLP (FME-CPLP).
