Mozambican entrepreneur Salimo Abdula has been taking part since Thursday in Nairobi, Kenya, in the 1st edition of the Choiseul Africa Summit, a strategic conference that is held for the first time in East Africa and will join key players in the search for ways to develop the economic sectors of the region.
For Chairman the Intelec Holdings Group, the event represents an opportunity to deepen discussions on the best alternatives for the development of African states and an ideal platform for the business class to establish solid and truly sustainable partnerships.
" In addition to bringing the English-speaking business community closer to the French-speaking countries, this summit is also an opportunity to present the opportunities available to the various players. We always want strategic partnerships that ultimately allow us to generate value and contribute to fair and balanced development," said Salimo Abdula.
In the V Edition of Choiseul Africa Business Forum, held in 2024, Salimo Abdula defended the need for African governments to strongly invest in the infrastructure network to make it a driving factor in the development of economies at continent level.
Despite recognizing that significant steps have been taken over the years, Salimo Abdula, who also Yeah. Member Choiseul Africa Advisory Board, highlighted that there are still multiform challenges, starting with the accelerated growth of urban poverty, a reality that challenges African leaders to adopt a strategic vision to reverse the trend.
The First Edition of the Choiseul Africa Summit represented an important milestone for the Choiseul Africa community, bringing together several hundred business leaders, civil servants and investors around a common goal: exploring opportunities for co-investment and cooperation between Europe and the African continent.
